Police have launched a manhunt for the suspect in the killing of a 19-year-old college student at her home in Zone 4, Barangay Sta Ana, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental. The victim identified as Lady Grace Galo, a second-year BS Business Administration student at Tagoloan Community College, was discovered with stab wounds on Friday afternoon, January 10, 2025. She was also an altar server and a member of the Sta. Ana Parish Youth Coordinating Council (PYCC).
The Tagoloan Municipal Police Station initially invited six individuals working at a nearby construction site for questioning but later released them. Investigators believe the suspect attempted to sexually assault the victim, but she fought back.
