Amid the busy holiday travel season, losing belongings is not uncommon. On December 21, 2024, a security personnel at Laguindingan Airport found an unattended clutch bag at the passenger waiting area during a routine inspection. Jonie Naldo of CAAP Security and Intelligence Services (CSIS) promptly alerted security and K-9 unit to check the bag. Inside, they discovered a passport, several IDs, P100,000 in cash, and a passbook. CAAP shared the discovery on Facebook, asking the owner to claim it. Later that day, the bag was successfully reclaimed by its rightful owner.
