Eleven barangays in Cagayan de Oro are participating in this year’s “Paskorela” where motorela units, considered as Cagayan de Oro’s iconic public transportation, are transformed into colorful Christmas floats. A pre-judging was conducted today at Gaston Park with the final judging and winners to be announced tomorrow, December 18. Participating barangays are: Barangay 1, Barangay 13, Bulua, Camaman-an, Carmen, Consolacion, Gusa, Kauswagan, Lumbia, Lapasan and Nazareth. The grand winner will receive P60,000 cash prize, P40,000 for the 2nd runner-up, and P30,000 for the 3rd runner-up.
