Oro’s Batican wins in Thailand Junior Golf World Championships

Cagayan de Oro’s Ralph Rian ‘Apollo’ Batican clinched the boys’ Class C title at the Thailand Junior World Championships held at the Royal Hua Hin Golf Club in Hua Hin, Thailand, on Saturday, November 2. The 12-year-old shot a one-over-par 73 in the final round for an even-par total of 216 over 54 holes, finishing three strokes ahead of Japan’s Ryusei Kuroiwa . Adding to the family’s success, his sister Athena secured 3rd place in girls’ Class C. Congratulations!
