The comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS, hailed as the “Comet of the Century”, made a stunning appearance over a clear sky in Cagayan de Oro City on Wednesday night, October 16. Discovered at the Purple Mountain Observatory in China on January 9, 2023, this rare celestial event has captivated stargazers worldwide. According to PAGASA, the comet will remain visible to the naked eye across the Philippines in the western sky from around 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM until the end of October 2024.
