The groundbreaking ceremony for the 6-storey expansion of the First Misamis Oriental General Hospital (FMOGH) in Medina, Misamis Oriental, took place today, October 15. The milestone event was led by Misamis Oriental Governor Peter M. Unabia together with Cong. Christian S. Unabia and Department of Health (DOH) Assistant Secretary Atty. Paolo S. Teston. Also present were DOH-10 Regional Director Dr. Sulpicio Henry M. Legaspi, Jr., DPWH Regional Director Lilibeth N. Aparecio, Medina Municipal Mayor Donato N. Chan, along with local municipal and health officials. The expansion of FMOGH aims to provide residents with convenient access to modern healthcare facilities, without the need to travel long distances for quality medical services.
