Just over a week since its public opening, some asphalt defects have been discovered on the Panguil Bay Bridge. While these are largely superficial and do not affect the structural integrity of the bridge, some have raised concerns. However, these minor issues can be easily repaired and will not impact the overall safety and functionality of the bridge. Maintenance teams of the DPWH are expected to address the defects promptly.
