The Regional Development Council in Northern Mindanao (RDC-X) is in talks with Ayala Land Corporation and the Department of Transportation (DOTr) in Region 10 to possibly co-locate the Regional Government Center (RGC) on their properties. This was shared by NEDA Regional Director Mylah Faye Aurora B. Cariño during the Liveable Cities Philippines event last week. Ayala Land is currently developing the 532-hectare Habini Bay near Laguindingan Airport, which is under the DOTr and will soon be managed by Aboitiz InfraCapital. The RGC will house over 50 regional government offices.
The RGC was earlier being proposed to be established at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) Agila S&T Park in Alubijid, Misamis Oriental.
