Misamis Oriental has gained significant boost as a must-visit destination, after being recognized as a Top 3 National Finalist in four categories at the 2024 ATOP Pearl Awards – Best Tourism Oriented Provincial LGU, Best Tourism Video, Most Outstanding Tourism Officers Association and Best Tourism Week/Month. The announcement and placement (1st Place, 2nd Place or 3rd Place) of winners will be during the ATOP 25th National Convention set October 9-12, 2024 in Koronadal City, South Cotabato. Congratulations!
Under the leadership of Governor Peter “Sr. Pedro” Unabia, the province is among the Top 3 National Finalists in the following categories:
