Cagayan de Oro’s Roads and Traffic Administration (RTA) will implement a Temporary Traffic Scheme during the 2024 BAR Examination at Xavier University, scheduled for September 8, 11, and 15, 2024. Temporary road closures will be in effect at specific times along the streets around the campus, affecting Corrales Avenue, Hayes Street, and parts of Toribio Chaves, Abejuela, Mortola, City Health Road, and 2nd Street. 1. TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
1.1 Temporary road closure shall be implemented at the portion of Hayes Street from Corrales Avenue to Mortola Street and 3rd Street bounded by Hayes Street and 2nd Street Nazareth, on the dates:
1.1.1 Starting 6:00AM of September 7, 2024 to 8:00PM of September 8, 2024
1.1.2 Starting 6:00AM of September 10, 2024 to 8:00PM of September 11, 2024
1.1.3 Starting 6:00AM of September 14, 2024 to 8:00PM of September 15, 2024

1.2 Temporary road closure shall be implemented STARTING 6:00AM – 8:00PM of September 15, 2024
1.2.1 Along Corrales Avenue from Fernandez St. to Hayes St.;
1.2.2 Along Chavez St. from Pabayo St. to Corrales Avenue
1.2.3 Along Abejuela St. from Pabayo St. to Corrales Avenue
1.2.4 Along City Health Road bounded by Hayes St. and 2nd St.

1.3 Temporary road closure shall be implemented Starting 3:00PM – 8:00PM of September 15, 2024
1.3.1 Along Mortola St. bounded by J.R. Borja and Hayes St.

2. TEMPORARY ONE-WAY STREET – shall be implemented along Mortola Street from J.R. Borja to Hayes St.

3. ENTRY OF BAR PERSONNEL, BAR EXAMINEES AND EMERGENCY VEHICLES
3.1 Service vehicle/s of Bar Personnel are allowed to enter at the closed roads of Hayes St. from corner of Corrales Avenue towards the designated dropping area and existing thereafter to Hayes St. corner Mortola St.;
3.2 Service vehicle/s of Bar Examinees are allowed to enter at the closed roads of Hayes St. from corner of Corrales Avenue towards the designated dropping area and existing thereafter to Hayes St. corner Mortola St.;
3.3 Police patrol, ambulance, fire truck and emergency vehicles with Supreme Court-issued car passes are allowed to enter at the closed road of Hayes St.;
3.4 Service vehicle/s of residents living along closed road of Hayes St. are allowed to enter from corner of Corrales Avenue, provided that they can present identification card/ documents confirming their residency in the area, while their exit point shall remain at Hayes St. corner Corrales Avenue.

4. PARKING and NO PARKING
4.1 Service vehicle/s of Bar Personnel with Supreme Court-issued car passes are allowed to park at the designated parking spaces within the closed road of Hayes St.
4.2 Police patrol, ambulance, fire truck and emergency vehicles with Supreme Court-issued car passes are allowed to park at the designated parking spaces within the closed road of Hayes St.
4.3 Service vehicle/s of resident living along the closed road of Hayes St. may temporarily park their vehicle/s at designated parking spaces inside the closed road
4.4 No Parking of all types of vehicles shall be implemented on either side along the following streets;
4.4.1 Corrales Avenue bounded by Fernandez St. and J.R. Borja St., except to existing setback parking;
4.4.2 J.R. Borja Street bounded by Corrales Avenue and Daumar St., except to existing setback for parking;
4.4.3 Mortola Street bounded by J.R. Borja St. and Hayes St. except to existing setback for parking;
4.4.4 2nd Street bounded by 18th St. and 3rd St. except to existing setback for parking;
4.4.5 Mortola St. bounded by J.R. Borja and Hayes St.

4.5 No Parking of all types of vehicles shall be implemented on the right side along the following streets;
4.5.1 3rd Street facing East from 2nd and 8th St. except to existing setback for parking
4.5.2 8th Street facing North from 3rd St. to 22nd St. except to existing setback for parking
4.5.3 2nd Street facing West from 8th St. to 3rd St. except to existing setback for parking;

5. TEMPORARY RE-ROUTING OF VEHICLES
5.1. Starting 6:00AM – 8:00PM of September 7-8, 10-11, 11-14, 2024
6:00AM – 8:00PM of September 14, 2024
6:00AM – 8:00PM of September 15, 2024
5.2. All westbound Public Utility Jeepneys (PUJs) upon reaching Fernandez Street shall turn right to Corrales Avenue, turn left to 2nd St., turn right to 3rd St., turn left 8th St., turn right to Hayes St. and proceed to existing destinations;
5.3 All Eastbound and Northbound public utility jeepneys (PUJs) upon reaching Toribio Chavez St. shall turn left to Corrales Avenue, turn right to J.R. Borja St. and proceed to existing destinations;
5.4 All affected Motorela units from Nazareth and Macasandig may traverse along the alternate road besides old Hall of Justice building going to Mortola St. while the said road _one-way) is temporary reverse from Hayes St. 8th St. to Hayes St. during the scheduled bar examination.
5.1.5 All affected private motorists may traverse along any passable streets.

5.2 Starting 6:00AM – 8:00PM of September 15, 2024
OUTFLOW:
1. All Southwest and Westbound public utility jeepneys (PUJs) upon reaching Fernandez St. shall turn right to Corrales Avenue, turn left to 2nd St. turn right to 3rd St., turn left 8th St., turn to Hayes St. and proceed to existing destinations.
2. All eastbound and northbound public jeepneys upon reaching Toribio Chavez St. shall turn left to Tiano Brothers St., turn right to J.R. Borja St. and proceed to destination.
3. All affected private motorist may traverse along any passable streets

INFLOW:
1. All Southwest public utility jeepneys (PUJs) upon reaching 2nd St. shall turn left either 21st & 19th St. turn right 6th St., turn right to Tomas Saco St., turn left to Fernandez Street and proceed to destination.
2. All affected private motorist may traverse along any passable streets.

5.3 Starting 3:00PM – 8:00PM of September 15, 2024
5.3.1 All PUJs upon reaching Mortola Street shall go straight, turn right to Capt. Vicente Roa Street, turn left Hayes St. and proceed to destinations
5.3.2 All affected private motorist may traverse along passable streets

II. Traffic Scheme Adjustment- the RTA is allowed to impose immediate adjustment on the above-mentioned temporary traffic plan, with due notice to the Supreme Court Security Head to harmonized the impact of traffic flow thereat;
