Following the completion of a new rubberized track and football field oval, the Municipality of Balingasag, Misamis Oriental, is set to build its own gymnasium. According to Municipal Mayor Alexis S. Quina, the upcoming sports facility will be constructed on a 1.5-hectare property donated by the Borromeo family in Barangay Talusan, near the boundary with Barangay Linggangao at Tulay Grande.
The Balingasag Gymnasium will be constructed to PBA standards, making it capable of hosting PBA games in the future. Check out some perspectives of the upcoming facility.

Balingasag ranked in the Top 7 in Innovation among 1st-2nd Class Municipalities in the latest competitive rankings. It is also ranked as the most competitive municipality in the province.
Meanwhile, the rubberized track and oval located at Balingasag Central School was inaugurated in September last year.
