Remember the motocross site beside Kagay-an Bridge in Barangay Carmen? It will be developed soon into a recreational riverside public park as part of Project Lunhaw. This was disclosed by City Councilor Bernie Bitokbitok Esparcia during the City Council’s 89th Regular Session at City Hall today, July 29. In his special report, Hon. Esparcia said the project which is already set for implementation includes walkway pavers, bike lane, fishing area, slope protection, walkway for PWD, a docking area and open area for recreation purposes.

The subject area shown below is this vast riverside flood plain between Kagay-an and Ysalina Bridges.

Here are screengrabs of the presentation.

Keep posted.

The rest is nice, but I personally think they should keep the motocross track too.
