Construction of the 290-meter Cugman Bridge III which is part of the ongoing CDO Eastern Interior Bypass Road Project will continue with additional allocation of P195 million for 2024. Cong. Rufus Rodriguez recently led the groundbreaking ceremony for the project together with DPWH-10 Construction Division Chief Engr. Jesse Peliño, local barangay officials and other DPWH 10 engineers and staff.

The Eastern Interior Bypass Road, which begins at Galaxy Road in Barangay Gusa, which will serve as an alternate route to decongest the main highway. It will pass through the hills of Barangays Cugman and Tablon (behind the Nestle Philippines factory), and will eventually connect to Sayre Highway in Barangay Puerto.
