Punong Barangay Rainier Joaquin ‘Kikang’ Uy, alongside City Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy, led the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new 4-storey barangay hall of Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City. It is the city’s first 4-story barangay hall. Carmen is the largest barangay in the city, with over 77,756 inhabitants according to the 2020 Census, representing nearly 10.67% of the city’s total population.
The opening of the new barangay hall is among the highlights of the barangay fiesta. Also in attendance were Chief of Staff Sheila Lumbatan, City Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Director Engr. Jane Docallos, other city councilors and barangay officials.
