Tiling work is now underway for the P329 million Oroquieta Bayfront Arena. Courtside seats have been installed, and work on the main floor of the arena is ongoing. In a Facebook post, City Mayor Lemuel Meyrick Acosta expressed hope that the tiling will be completed by July, allowing the facility to be used for the upcoming fiesta activities.
