The 13.47-kilometer Bukidnon-Compostela Valley Road, one of the eleven High Impact Infrastructure Projects in Northern Mindanao, connects Brgy Namnam in San Fernando, Bukidnon to Brgy Laak, Compostela Valley in Davao Region traversing mountainous terrain. As of May 2024, 10.58 kilometers of the road have already been concreted. Meanwhile, the remaining 2.89 kilometers including slope protection measures is proposed for the following years.
As reported by DPWH-X Regional Director Zenaida Tan during last week’s Kapihan sa Bagong Pilipinas, an estimated P1.594 billion out of a total estimated cost of P1.894 billion has been released for the project which aims to provide inter-regional links between Region X and Region XI, improve economic activity and quality of life by providing better access to essential services.

As shown in the map, the road project starts in Brgy Namnam along the Kapalong-Talaingod-Valencia Road.
