Cagayan de Oro’s Alicia Margarett Villanueva, Jarl Artango and Katrina Insoy, as well as Bukidnon’s KJ Guada Dave Badajos were named to represent the Philippines in basketball for the 13th ASEAN School Games 2024 in Danang, Vietnam set to start today May 29, 2024. Good luck!
Villanueva, who recently had a successful stint with Gilas Girls in the FIBA U18 Women’s Asia Cup 2024 SEABA Qualifiers in Thailand will be joined by Corpus Christi School’s Insoy and Philippine College Foundation – Bukidnon’s Badajos. Both Badajos and Insoy will reinforce National University-Nazareth Girls basketball team.
Meanwhile, Jarl Artango will represent the Philippines as member of the Adamson University Baby Falcons boys basketball team.
