Water consumers in Cagayan de Oro City particularly in the western part of the city got a temporary retrieve after a court issued a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) against Cagayan de Oro Bulk Water Inc. (COBI) and Rio Verde Water Consortium Inc from disconnecting water supply to Cagayan de Oro Water District (COWD). However, the TRO is effective only for an inextendible period of 72 hours or 3 days. In a press release, COWD announced resumption of water supply at around 11:45pm, May 14, 2024.
