Kagay-anon educator Grover Asequia might not have progressed further in the current America’s Favorite Teacher Competition but he received a significant accolade by being named as the Teacher of the Year in Arizona’s Gila Bend Unified School District, providing a well-deserved boost to his achievements. Congratulations!
Asequia who hails from Barangay Macabalan works as a Resource Teacher at Gila Bend Elementary School in Gila Bend, Arizona. After finishing his bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at Bukidnon State University, he completed a Diploma in Special Education at Mindanao University in Science and Technology and Master of Arts in Educational Administration at Phinma-COC.
