JE Hydro & Bio-Energy Corporation is proposing to develop a 5MLD (58 LPS) Balubal Level III Water Supply Project in Barangay Balubal, Cagayan de Oro City. The project actually held its ground breaking ceremony in January last year. Now, the proponent is in the process of securing all necessary and relevant permits. Included in the proposal is a Modular Water Treatment Plant (WTP) to be constructed at Sitio Kibaga in the said barangay. The project will extract raw water from Agusan River with produced potable water to be distributed to households in Balubal as well as in subdivisions in nearby Upper Agusan.
The proposed project which cost around P210 million will consist of the following system components:
- Raw Water Intake and Pumping Station
- 6,000 m3 Raw Water Lagoon
- Lagoon Pumping and Booster Pumping Stations
- 750 m, 12-in diameter Raw Water Pipeline
- HEA Water Treatment Facility
- Sludge Lagoon
- 500 m3 Product Water Tank
- Product Water Pumping Station
- Water Distribution Pipeline
- Operations and Maintenance Office
