The 3.17-kilometer Panguil Bay Bridge, the longest sea-crossing bridge in Mindanao is just four months away from its target completion in August 2024. Costing P7.37 billion funded by the Korean Economic Development Cooperation Fund, the 2-lane bridge project will connect Tangub City in Misamis Occidental and Tubod in Lanao del Norte thereby reducing travel time to only 7 minutes from the usual 2.5 hours. Whether the timetable for the completion will realized remains to be seen.
