Starlite Ferries executives, alongside Misamis Occidental Governor Henry Oaminal and Oroquieta City Mayor Lemuel Meyrick Acosta led the formal grand launching of the maiden voyage of Starlite Archer serving the Oroquieta-Larena-Tagbilaran-Cebu route and vice-versa held today, April 29 at San Vicente Bajo Port in Oroquieta. The ROPAX vessel with a gross register tonnage of 2,700 tons with 64 crew members, has a capacity to 366 passengers and 21 trucks. Starlite Ferries is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chelsea Logistics and aims to enhance maritime connectivity in the region.
