Cagayan de Oro’s Karen Daisymel Rabanes of Party Everywhere Mobile Bar has advanced to the national finals of MONIN Cup 2024 after she was named as among the top 3 bartenders in the just concluded Visayas and Mindanao Semi-finals held in Cebu today, April 29. She will now compete in the Manila Finals this June for the coveted MONIN Cup 2024 Low is More trophy. Other finalists are Aykroyd Ormega of Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu and James Luke Siacor of Bai Hotel, Cebu. Good luck!
“Karen has learned the basics of bartending when she enrolled in a bartending class where she was able to learn creating recipes, mixing techniques, customer service and who to be responsible in serving alcohol. She applied as a part-time barback where she learned the ropes as she watched experienced baristas in action. She loves to spend time experimenting recipes and practicing her mixology skills.
