Workers clearing fields for a banana plantation in Tugaya, Valencia City, Bukidnon, stumbled upon an injured owl unable to fly. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the owl had sustained a wing injury. Subsequently, the bird was entrusted to the custody of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) personnel in Bukidnon. Photos by Theotis Baker Beasley.
