Bukidnon is the top agricultural economy in the country after registering the largest share of the Gross Value Added (GVA) of Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (AFF) with 7.0 percent at the national level in 2022 equivalent to P125 billion. This is according to the Provincial Product Accounts (PPA) Results as of November 2023 from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
GVA is defined as the total of all revenues, from final sales and net subsidies, which are incomes into businesses; these incomes are then used to cover expenses, savings, and taxes.
