The installation of AI-ready CCTV Camera System in Iligan City is now 40 percent completed. A total of 228 CCTV cameras, equipped with facial-recognition features, are slated for installation across 65 strategic locations, covering all entry and exit points of the city. Additionally, the system includes 10 IP Horn Speakers, serving as emergency public speakers when needed. The installation, alongside the establishment of the Command Center, is on track for completion by next month (April). This initiative, spearheaded by City Mayor Freddie Siao, aims to enhance safety and transform Iligan into a smart city.
