Carlo Paalam defeated Andrey Bonilla of Mexico by split decision (3-1) in the Men’s 57kg Round of 32 to advance in the World Qualification Tournament for the Paris Olympics in Busto Arsizio, Italy. He now faces Shukur Ozemov of Turkmenistan in the Round of 16.
