Another do-it-yourself ramyeon noodle house has opened in Cagayan de Oro. Chibu’s Ramyeon is situated at Pabayo-Gaerlan Streets inside Marfori Compound beside Casa Azucena. Just a few blocks from Divisoria, this cozy diner exudes a vibrant Korean ambiance, offering an array of packed mild to spicy instant ramyeon noodles soup (P115), or stir fry noodles (P135). Additionally, patrons can indulge in a selection of popular Korean street food, Korean combo snacks, and refreshing drinks. Chibu’s Ramyeon provides an inviting space to relax and enjoy hot delicious ramyeon either solo or in the company of friends.

GETTING THERE. Chibu’s Ramyeon is right inside Marfori Compound. The compound’s entrance is along Pabayo-Gaerlan Streets. See map below.

Similar with other self-service ramyeon shops, there are four (4) easy steps to do once inside:
1. CHOOSE your noodles and drinks from the rack; you can ask for assistance from the staff if you’re not familiar especially the mild and spicy varieties. Place your noodle pack on the bowl and wooden tray.

2. PICK your toppings (P20/topping) – Variety include Mixed Seafoods, Odeng, K-Sausage, Egg, Spam, Pork Samgyup, Corn, Fish Tofu, Mandu, Squid Balls, Siomai, Crab Sticks, Enoki, Bean Sprouts, Cheese, and Fish Balls.

3. PAY at the cashier.

4. COOK. Empty the sachets and pour into the “golden” bowl and placed it on the cooker. Cooking usually takes 4 minutes. Ask for assistance.

Once finished, you can enjoy your ramyeon.

They also offer Combo Snacks for P250 such as Combo 1 (KImari + Instant Tteokboki) or Combo 2 (Instant Tteokboki + Kimbap). If you prefer a Dosirak Snack Box, you can choose three (3) K-Street Foods on the menu for P220.
