PROJECT WATCH: Concreting of elevated Limketkai Avenue latest update as of March 2024

Concreting and drainage works of the southbound lanes of the newly elevated Limketkai Avenue continues. This section of the main road which cuts across Limketkai Center has been raised a few meters from its original ground level connecting the also elevated CM Recto Avenue to the new Bitan-ag Bridge near McDonald’s Limketkai. With the elevated road, the main driveway of Limketkai Luxe Hotel is now just a few feet above the road.

You can notice the “markers” extending towards the road indicating the final level. Perhaps this will be back-filled.

Heavy equipment is still conducting excavation works.

The northbound lanes have been completed. Landscaping the sidewalk still have to be made.

The center island still needs to be developed.

When road and drainage works are finished, expect Limketkai to do their own part back-filling the now depressed sections.

Here’s the view at ground level. You can see the elevated road and ongoing concrete box-type drainage line at right. Compare with the current level of the hotel driveway.

The driveway must be higher than the drainage line.

You can assume the space between the road and the hotel driveway will be back-filled soon.

Construction of the drainage line is still not complete.

Keep posted.
