A multitude of devotees joined today’s Traslacion, the annual solemn procession of the Black Nazarene image from St. Augustine Metropolitan Cathedral to Nazareno Church in Cagayan de Oro. Police estimated an overwhelming crowd exceeding 18,000, drawing participants not only from various parts of Mindanao but also from as far as the Visayas. Remarkably, the procession transpired smoothly, completing in just a little over an hour. This significant event highlights today’s Feast Day of the Black Nazarene.
