Check out the latest progress update of the new Misamis Occidental Provincial Hospital Project known as Asenso Misamis Occidental Medical Center located in Talairon, Oroquieta City. Once completed, the 500-bed medical facility will be pioneering the most upgraded healthcare system in the province equipped with advanced medical facilities and competent medical personnel.
As shown, the front portion of the medical facility has already taken shape.
Misamis Occidental Governor Henry Oaminal made an ocular inspection last December 27, 2023 and urged the contractor to fast-track the construction. He has been regularly visiting various infrastructure projects in the province.
Based on the development plan, the first floor of the hospital building will house the emergency department, laboratory, diagnostic center, pharmacy, patient rooms, and services and treasury while more wards and private rooms, the surgical and radiology departments will be constructed at the second floor.
