Cagayan de Oro City has achieved a significant milestone by securing, for the first time, the coveted ‘Seal of Good Local Governance.’ The award was officially presented by Interior and Local Government Secretary Benhur Abalos to City Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy and his team during the national awarding ceremony held early today, December 14, 2023, at the Manila Hotel. This achievement reflects the dedication and effective leadership demonstrated by Mayor Klarex and the city’s administration in fostering positive development and service to its residents.
Also present during the awarding were City DILG Director Engr. Jane Docallos, City Vice Mayor Jocelyn ‘Bebot’ Rodriguez, Majority Floor Leader Atty. Ed Cabanlas, City Councilors Dr. Malou Gaane, Romeo Calizo, Ian Mark Nacaya, Jay Roa Pascual, Girlie Balaba, Suzette Magtajas-Daba and George Goking.
