Asphalting of the last bridge segment along the 17-kilometer Alae-Phividec Bypass Road was successfully finished over the weekend as scheduled. Barring any unforseen circumstances, the road is expected to be opened to traffic within the next few days, possibly by the upcoming weekend. This newly constructed road serves the dual purpose of diverting traffic from the bustling Sayre Highway, Puerto-Alae Section, and providing an alternative route to the Mindanao Container Terminal (MCT) in Tagoloan. This route directly accommodates cargo trucks from Bukidnon, streamlining transportation logistics.

Keep posted.
