Six motorela units, considered as Cagayan de Oro’s iconic public transportation were transformed into candy shops on wheels as the annual “Paskorela” unfolded at Gaston Park last December 7. The dress-up-your-motorela contest has “Candy Land Christmas” for this year’s theme. A pre-judging was conducted during the launch and the final judging takes place on December 22 at the Rio de Oro Boulevard. Prior to the final judging, these motorelas will ply the streets as regular public transport.
The grand winner will receive P55,000 in cash while second and third placers will get P35,000 and P25,000, respectively.
