The historic Fuerte de la Concepcion y del Triunfo, also known as the Cotta Fort, played host to a momentous mass wedding ceremony officiated by Ozamiz City Mayor Henry “Indy” Oaminal, Jr. The event, graced by the members of the Ozamiz City Council led by Vice Mayor Simplicia “Bebie” O. Neri as sponsors, saw a total of one hundred and eighty-five (185) couples formally exchanging vows in a celebration aptly named “Kasalan sa Pasko.”
This joyous occasion provided each couple with a host of complimentary services, including prenuptial pictorials, complete with free attire and grooming services, including hair and make-up for both the bride and groom. The festive generosity extended further with complimentary wedding cakes, P1,000 worth of coupons from Barrio Fiesta, a P3,000 gift check from Gloria Bazaar, and a generous cash gift amounting to P30,000, all from the Asenso Ozamiz Team.
