Have you passed by the new route from Butuan to Bukidnon? The new Butuan-Bukidnon Road shortens the usual 7-hour travel time into 4 and-a-half hours of scenic countryside views. Some sections where road concreting is ongoing have been observed as experienced by popular vlogger Kyle “Kulas” Jennermann but majority of the route is already paved.
This road project is actually part of the Agusan-Bukidnon East-West Lateral Road. From Butuan City, proceed south and turn right towards Brgy Lawan Lawan (part of Buenavista town in Agusan del Norte) where the new road opening connects it to Brgy Eureka in Gingoog City, Brgy Minalwang in Claveria, Brgy Kalabugao in Impasug-ong, Bukidnon with overlooking view of the headwaters of Pulangui River then through the Kalabugao-Cabanglasan Road further south towards Cabanglasan proper then to Aglayan Crossing in Malaybalay City.
