Cagayan de Oro City has been chosen as one of nine partner cities of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Urban Connect Project, a five-year (2023-2028), P624 million project that aims to promote inclusive and resilient economic growth across the country by enhancing local economic development and improving public service delivery.
Cagayan de Oro City Administrator Atty. Roy Hilario Raagas attended the project launch held at the Crowne Plaza Galleria at Ortigas Center last Thursday, October 26.

Other partner cities of USAID under its Cities Development Initiative (CDI) are Batangas, Legazpi, and Puerto Princesa in Luzon; Iloilo, Tacloban, and Tagbilaran in Visayas; and General Santos, and Zamboanga in Mindanao.
