PPA eyes cruise ship terminal in Camiguin

The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) is planning to put up a cruise ship terminal in Camiguin and several other areas as part of its rollout plan in improving cruise tourism in the country. This comes after the Philippines was named as the “Best Cruise Destination in Asia for 2023” during the World Cruise Awards held last Sunday, October 14 in Dubai.

Camiguin has been visited by cruise ships before – M/S Caledonian Sky in 2016 and M/V Silver Discoverer in 2018.
