The Laguindingan Airport’s Pre-Departure Extension/Expansion Project, costing P36 million, will begin in December and is set to be finished in 180 days. It will increase the seating capacity from 500 to 860 passengers. Congressman Yevgeny “Bambi” Emano of Misamis Oriental shared this information, as discussed during a recent budget hearing, where he expressed frustration over the delayed airport upgrade.
The proposal is a remedial measure action by DOTr and the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) until the PPP Program for the airport is completed.

Below are more perspectives of the pre-departure area extension project.
