Tokyo Olympics silver medallist Carlo Paalam now fighting in the featherweight (57kg) just before the start of the Asian Games used an aggressive style to eliminate Jordan’s Mohammad Adnan Abu Jajeh via unanimous decision (5-0) at the Hangzhou Gymnasium today. Abu Jajeh, incidentally was the gold medallist at the lightweight (60kg) division in the 2022 ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships. With the win, Paalam advanced to the Round of 16.
