The City Government of Cagayan de Oro has announced the start of construction of the P69,496,879.01 million 5-storey City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Department (CDRRMD) Disaster Coordination Center Building located at Zone 8 in Barangay Carmen near the Cagayan de Oro Eco Park. The facility is projected to serve not only the city’s barangays but also neighboring towns, cities and provinces. It was also gathered that the dormitories for responders will also be constructed.
