Here are latest progress photo updates of the Pueblo-Canitoan Section of the 4-lane 35.89-kilometer CDO-Laguindingan Mountain Diversion Road. As shown, road opening is still ongoing. This road starts from CDO Airport Road (back of Hotel Koresco) then towards the western side of Misamis Oriental passing some western barangays of the city and then traversing the Municipality of Opol, City of El Salvador and the Municipalities of Alubijid and Laguindingan. When completed, travel time from CDO Airport Road to Laguindingan will reduce from the usual one (1) hour and eleven (11) minutes into just thirty (30) minutes.
At the rate, road completion of the whole stretch could be seen in 4 to 5 years time. Keep posted.
