Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines Incorporated (CCBPI) is set to expand its Misamis Oriental plant located in the municipality of Villanueva, considered its largest facility outside Luzon. This was revealed following a meeting with officials of the Bureau of Customs Port of Cagayan de Oro.
As gathered, with the planned expansion, Coca-Cola will also increase its importation volume, benefiting the revenue collection of the entire Collection District X. In return, the Port of Cagayan de Oro committed to streamlining its processes to efficiently handle imported cargoes for multinational companies like Coca-Cola and other stakeholders.
Inaugurated in 2011, the Misamis Oriental plant sits on an 11-hectare area and is the biggest Coca-Cola facility outside Luzon.
