There is now clearing and demolition of houses which block the JICA-funded Cagayan de Oro River Flood Risk Management Project – Macasandig Section of the River Boulevard Project from Paseo del Rio towards Balulang-Macasandig Bridge. As shown below, this cluster of houses remains the only hindrance to the dike’s completion.

This river boulevard is similar to the JR Borja-Puntod Section. You can already observe the road width and the sidewalk.
