A religious pastor along with two others were arrested by a composite team led by operatives of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Misamis Oriental Provincial Office during a successful buy-bust operation at around noon today, August 16, 2023 at NHA Phase 3, Olape Compound, Brgy. Kauswagan, Cagayan de Oro City.
In a press release, the main suspect was identified as Richie Olape Honghong alias “Kap”, allegedly a drug den maintainer and a religious pastor. Also arrested were two visitors of the drug den namely, Dinald Ramos Serrano and Michael Padla Galon. All are residents of the said place. Government authorities were able to recover more or less ten (10) grams of shabu with an estimated market value of Sixty-Eight Thousand Pesos (Php68,000.00).
All arrested suspects will be facing charges for violation of RA 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The successful anti-drug operation was conducted by operatives of PDEA ROX Misamis Oriental Provincial Office together with PDEA ROX Special Enforcement Team and Cagayan de Oro City Police Station 4.
