FDC Green Energy Corporation, a subsidiary of FDC Utilities Inc., will be putting up an 11.5 megawatt solar power plant at Phividec Industrial Estate in Misamis Oriental. This was confirmed following the recent official signing ceremony for the firm’s registration with Phividec Industrial Authority with FDC President Juan Eugenio Roxas and PHIVIDEC Administrator Atty Joseph Bernedo. Accordingly, the solar facility will rise in an 11-hectare area within the 84-hectare leased property of Filinvest at Phividec. Photos/info from Steph Berganio of MisOr Radyo 87.5 FM.

FDC President Roxas said this proposal actually started way back in 2019 and was finally realized today. Power output of the solar plant will still use the existing transmission line of FDC Misamis Power.
