Students of Philippine Science High School-Central Mindanao Campus (PSHS-CMC) based in Balo-i, Lanao del Norte bagged seven awards in the recently concluded 2023 International Applied Biology Olympiad (IABO) held last June 25-28, 2023 in Bali, Indonesia. Karylle Martina Cabahug bagged the grand award along with a gold medal. Andrea Nicole Buenaventura and Miguel Paolo Mabunay also won gold awards. Meanwhile, Pierce Cyczar Ciel Salise and Lance Vincent Canceran won silver awards and Ashley Mikyla Dahan got a bronze award. Their coach is Sheila Marie Lazaro. Congratulations!
IABO is an international competition platform for Grades 9 to 12 students of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education and is organized by the Indonesian Scientific Society (ISS). Around 150 participants from several countries participated in the said competition.
