Newly-crowned WBC Asia Light Flyweight Champion Marco John Rementizo recently paid a courtesy call on City Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy. Last June 24, 2023, he stopped Thailand’s Danai Ngiabphukhiaw to capture the title. Rementizo who is a resident of Barangay 6, this city has been boxing for eight years now. During his visit at city hall, he was accompanied by Wowie Lalanto Stable (WLS) Fight Studio Manager Wowie Lalanto, Barangay 6 Punong Barangay Ian Chiu, and Zamboanga Games and Amusement Board Vic Cabalong.
