As more and more visitors continue to flock to Brenda Mage’s Hinaguan Farm located in Solana, Jasaan, Misamis Oriental, the comedian is planning to disallow overnight stays after getting concerned about the noise from guests who have camped out at night. In his Facebook post, Mage said he is deeply concerned about his supposed rest house becoming a “perya” that it may disturb other guests of his neighbors who are looking for a place to rest and relax.

GETTING THERE. Haven’t been to Hinaguan Farm? If you’re coming from Cagayan de Oro, turn right after passing Solana Bridge in Jasaan. The landmark at the highway is the signage “THIS WAY TO SAGPULON FALLS.” About a kilometer from the highway is Laga Pool. Stop and park your vehicle in the vicinity (property owner charges P30 for parking) then walk towards Hinaguan Farm (crossing the river). There are also habal-habal at the highway junction as public transport. See map below.

Because of the unending number of visitors who wanted to take a picture with him, Mage has already felt stressed and wanted to go home for a week. Many netizens even suggested for the farm to have limited hours of operation or even closed on certain days. Some even said he should start charging entrance fees next time.

By the way, the farm also has a grotto.
