The City Government of El Salvador will push thru with the development of Bayfront Esplanade, a 26-hectare coastal reclamation project from Bolo-bolo Bridge towards Asia Brewery frontage. This was disclosed by City Mayor Edgar Lignes during his latest State of the City Address last June 27, 2023 even as he bared the tedious process in securing the relevant permits and clearances.
The proposed reclamation will have an area for a yacht club, commercial areas for restaurants, malls and other recreational facilities. In previous information, the strip of reclaimed land will have a width of 100 meters.
